Blue Bond optical bonding reduces both diffuse and specular reflection by sealing an anti-glare or anti-reflective overlay to the front of the display (plastic,glass or touchscreens). Normally, mounting an overlay would introduce multiple reflection issues within the panel itself, allowing for reflections on the overlay as well as the display itself. Optical bonding avoids this problem by eliminating the air gap between overlay and display by means of an optically clear silicone. This process is also ideal in the field touchscreen integration, offering minimal luminance loss. Not to mention that our revolutionary Blue Bondtm optical bonding process has the distinction of being the only toxin-free, and truly reworkable optical bond in the industry. The reworkability is a 5 minute process and because of the reworkablity Blue Cube has very high yield rates on our process.
Our latest advancement has been the optical bonding of panels ranging from 2”-57" LCD panels. The images below were taken Before (at left) and After (at right) our bonding process. These pictures were taken in direct sunlight, outside of our office. As you can see, there is no disputing the reduction in reflection.
